Questions:

  1. You’re on your way to a birthday dinner that your friends have thrown for you. When you arrive, your favorite author is having dinner by himself or herself and asks you to sit with them, before you even see your friends or they see you. You have two choices: (1) You can sit with the author but can’t tell your friends that you’ve abandoned them for three hours, or (2) Meet your friends and lose the only chance you’ll ever have to talk with the author. Pick one or the other — no exceptions or communication to your friends to tell them about the author — and explain why

I’ll stay with friends. I can’t tell them that I met my favorite author but I can explain author that friends have specially arranged party and I can’t abandon them. Sure author will understand, or done the same if he/she was at my place. I can get in touch with author by other medium but I won’t let down those who have done something special for me just for my happiness.

I have a habit of entering my own third option in question and if that is allowed, I would ask author to  join dinner with my friends. Everyone will be happy.

  1. You’ve got an opportunity to spend a few hours alone “in your bedroom” with a character from any book you’ve previously read. The character tells you that (s) he would like to lock the door and spend some alone time with you. What book and character is it, and do you decide to enter the room and lock the door, or tell them you aren’t interested?

George Weasley. We’ll lock the door and work on some new Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes products then teleport to a person’s place we don’t like and test those products. Don’t mess with me, I’ve George in my team 😉

  1. If you could turn any male character from one of your favorite books into a female character (or change a female into a male) in the book or book series, which one and why?

I’ll turn Simon (MI) into female (Simonee) that will save that useless love triangle. I never liked him being more than best friend with Clary.

And this is not my favorite series but I’ll turn Jacob (Twilight) into female (Jacobee). Again same reasons and in female role he could be such awesome vamp (I mean that evil lady in TV soaps).

  1. What blogger currently on your follower’s list (meaning they follow you too) do you admire the most and why?

Tough one. There are many. Some I like for discussion, some for their hilarious voice, some for brilliant writing, and some for awesome detailed reviews even though they DNF it… I can’t just name one that would be unfair. So I admire all of you for one thing in common, for entering blogging world against all odds, never giving up and being here every day for sharing your thought, doing something you love, and being who you’re.

  1. If you could change any one decision your favorite book character made, what would it be and why?

Beatrice Prior in Allegiant. Change her decision near the end of the book. It was silly.

  1. If you could pick 1 character from a book and 1 character from a TV show you watch (that is NOT based on a book) to be in a relationship together, who would you choose, and why?

I don’t watch TV shows!! So can’t answer that. Pair someone for me with Iko (Lunar Chronicles) or with Percy (Percy Jackson series). Any suggestions??

  1. It’s your last day on Earth. As you are about to cross that final finish line, a mysterious shadow appears, giving you a choice: (1) You can go move forward to whatever comes next for you [based on your own spiritual or religious beliefs], or (2) you can become a character in a book series and exist permanently doing whatever that author chooses to do with you in the book. Which do you choose, and if it’s option 2, reveal the book and author.

First obviously. I choose what I want to do, surly I don’t like to be puppet.

  1. If you could steal a pet from someone in any book you’ve read but had to replace it with a friend’s pet (meaning they wouldn’t ever see their pet again), would you do it? If so, explain who and why.

That’s horrible thing to do. Why would I steal a pet!! I certainly won’t like if someone steals my pet. So no stealing. Nope.

  1. If you could turn someone from your real life into a character from a book, who from your life, who in the book and why?

Some people are messing with my peace of mind lot these days. Voldemort of my life. *Ahem* I wish I can defeat them with a wand and get back the peace in world or can enter their mind like Harry to see what’s their problem with me.

  1. Post a picture of the cover of a book you read in 2000 and the book you are currently reading now. (Note: if you weren’t alive in 2000, pick the first book you ever read and tell everyone what year it was from).

I was not into reading at that time, I might be around 12 in 2000. But once I read one or two Mills & Boon’s book when I turned 17, I guess (Not sure). You seeing this tattered remains.

*That was not my doing by the way. It’s all fault of Indian weather. And have all pages* but I don’t even remember this story. I do remember the story of other book but I forgot title. Does it make sense?!?!

First book I read and remember  is Next by Michael Crichton I actively started reading after this book.

  1. Your favorite character (under 18) needs a place to stay for 3 months and asks you if (s)he could stay in your spare room (yes, you have one for the sake of this question). Who is it and what is the reason (s)he needs to stay with you?

For sake of the question if I had a room than that will be best library and Hermione would love to go through my collection so she can stay there as long as she wants to.

  1. What are qualities that a favorite character of yours has that you wish you had as well? What character, what qualities and why? Pick a book you’ve read this year (you can change this question when added to your blog, but please let me know your answer to this question in the comments below)

Percy and Harry for making awesome friends. I don’t have that friends-for-lifetime bone in me. Something always turns people away from me.

Or Dare: If you choose not to accept the tag, you have to follow through on whatever dare the person who tags you chooses.

Hi, I'm Yesha, an Indian book blogger. Avid and eclectic reader who loves to read with a cup of tea. Not born reader but I don't think I’m going to stop reading books in this life. “You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me.”

  2. Yesha – Loved your answers… am I in trouble over the stealing a pet question? Uh oh! As for your first answer, you can add a third option, but just you. No one else! 🙂

Thank you for doing the tag. Thanks Noriko for nominating her!

        1. If pet is not good and I put it in book, book will be chaotic. character will die early, if its Tintin! That I don’t want, it’ll be horrible novel… and if I’m replacing bad pet of book with friend’s, his/her life will be horrible. So, this all replacing thing is not working in any case. Besides, why would I be a villain! Nope. Let villains do the dirty wok. I’m more interested in queen or angel or fierce sarcastic but doing good thing heroine role. ;P

    1. Thank you Clair! I have chosen friends, I’ll do that or something like that in real life too but no one stays around that you can count on. So.., what you choose in the tag doesn’t define you! I’m sure you’re good friend. 🙂
