Monthly Wrap-Up: November 2018

November 2018 wrapup

Hello Book Lover! I hope you all are doing great and had a wonderful month. This month has been exciting and busy because of me sweet little girl. I can’t believe I read only 3 books this month! I knew I won’t find much time once my girl is here and she will take all the time but still it’s shocking. Some day I can finish 30% of the book and some days I even read single page. Even stats are going down (it’s obvious as I haven’t published as many posts as before). But family comes first so I don’t regret it.

I guess December also will end up like this as we are going to organize social gathering and have to attend a family function plus there are 2 doc appointments..! I wish December goes faster.

Books I read in November-

Watching Glass Shatter by James J. Cudney

Stars: 5/5

It was captivating, addicting, emotional and juicy family drama with exquisite writing and quirky characters that I recommend to all fiction readers.

The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman, Chris Riddell (Illustrator)

Stars: 5/5

interesting gripping adventure of Bod and His life in graveyard that I recommend to all young readers who enjoy horror and thriller stories with quirky characters.

The Ministry of Utmost Happiness by Arundhati Roy

Stars: 3.5/5

insightful, thought-provoking fiction story based in India and written around political, social, religious, and regional issues of India with critical view point. But it is not for all reader, specifically not for those who are not aware of Indian affairs or those who doesn’t like to hear anything against India.

Hi, I'm Yesha, an Indian book blogger. Avid and eclectic reader who loves to read with a cup of tea. Not born reader but I don't think I’m going to stop reading books in this life. “You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me.”
